A31 | Dorset | Both Directions | Serious Collision | Road Closed
The A31 in Dorset is closed in both directions between the B3073 (near Canford Bottom) and the A349 (near Wimborne Minster) due to a serious collision involving 3 vehicles. All emergency services including Dorset Police are in attendance.
Eastbound traffic is being diverted via the hollow circle diversion symbol. Exit the A31 at the Merley roundabout and take the 2nd exit to join the A341. Continue to the next roundabout and then take the 2nd exit to join the A349. At the junction with the A341, turn left and join the A341 and continue for 2 miles until the A348 Bear Cross roundabout. Use the 1st exit and join the A348 Ringwood Road. Follow the A348 for 1 mile through Longham and continue to the B3073 roundabout. Use the 1st exit and join the B3073 (Ham Lane). Follow for 1.5 miles and then rejoin the A31 eastbound at the Canford Bottom roundabout.
Westbound traffic should follow the above route in reverse, this is via the hollow square symbol.
